Fox’s Marina & Boatyard is an independently run marina and boatyard located on the River Orwell in Ipswich, Suffolk providing 100 pontoon berths with easy access at all states of the tide, ashore storage for over 200 vessels, extensive on-site yacht repair, refit and maintenance facilities a large chandlery. We offer a secure, friendly facility that’s perfectly equipped to provide all our customers with a first class service, from casual berthing to complete refits.

Our loyal workforce is our greatest asset, allowing us to deliver consistently high standards and the best level of customer care. All project management and communications is handled by hands-on managers with access to the resources offered by our range of on-site departments. This allows us to provide the best advice based on extensive knowledge, and bring innovative solutions with clear and transparent estimates.

Complementing our marina, we have extensive boat handling and storage options, large heated workshops and the capability to carry out all work via multiple in house departments. Our skilled teams allow us to offer a wide range of services including workshops specialising in composite repairs and modification; gelcoat repairs and polishing; spray paint application and finishing; traditional timber repairs; joinery and teak deck work; electronic installation and fault finding; marine engineering; stainless fabrication; standing and running rigging; spar supply and maintenance; commercial and workboat services and race preparation and support.
