As an alternative to teak and other traditional decking materials, we're installing an Eco Marine Deck cork deck on this classic Nicholson 43.
The workshop team carefully removed the original teak deck and carried out necessary sub-deck repairs prior to making templates for the new cork deck, which was fabricated off-site. They are now in the process of dry fitting, followed by bonding down the new deck using a vacuum bagging technique, ensuring an even clamping pressure and avoiding the need for any fastenings.
