Meet the new Fox's Electronics Supervisor

Posted on: Tuesday, 23rd April 2024

We are delighted to announce Mark Forrester's well-deserved promotion to Electronics Supervisor. With his extensive marine expertise, Mark now leads our electronics department and its growing team.

Mark's journey at Fox's spans six years. Prior to joining us, he honed his skills during an 11-year tenure at Oyster Yachts Wroxham and a 2-year stint at Windboats, where he played a pivotal role with the production of Gunfleet Yachts - two of which he helped complete at Fox's after Windboats ceased trading halfway through build.

As Electronics Supervisor, Mark manages the department, overseeing task organisation, parts procurement, technical issue resolution, and project quoting.

Mark spends a large part of his time working on both new and preowned Oyster Yachts, using his in-depth knowledge of the boats to perform mast builds, health checks, and warranty services. He is key in setting up electrical equipment and conducting sea trials to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

If you're a follower of the Oyster Regattas, you'll likely recognise Mark's face. He was a member of the victorious team during last year's Palma Regatta, sailing aboard the 885 Ayni, following her complete refit at Fox's.

As with most Fox's staff, Mark's passion for boats extends to his life outside work. He has lovingly restored a 1974 Westerley Berwick, which he now calls home in the marina. Not one to sit still, Mark is currently undertaking the rebuild of a motorbike!
