For this month’s staff profile we have a double whammy – meet our Production Coordinator Lucy Holloway and Office Dog Rosie, they come as a pair but independently play important roles here at Fox’s.
Lucy has worked at Fox’s for two years but has been a familiar face in the boatyard for many years, with her first venture into the marine world as Commissioning Assistant at Oyster Yachts 20 years ago. This then led to chef/first mate positions on an Oyster 56, a 72 and 655 Roulette (which is coincidentally currently at Fox’s for refit).
With a few ski seasons and a couple of chef jobs in between time, Lucy found her way back to Fox’s, where she puts her knowledge of luxury yachts and cruising to good use in her role as Production Coordinator - ordering parts, converting jobs, liaising with suppliers and customers and generally keeping the production office in order. She is a self-confessed lover of organisation and has a meticulous eye for detail… basically every office needs a Lucy!
Outside work Lucy is just as active, swimming, running and sailing. As if that wasn’t enough to keep her busy she is also in the process of renovating a Contessa 32 with her partner Stuart. The boat was a wreck when they acquired it and has been a three-year labour of love.
Not forgetting to mention Lucy’s labrador and Office Dog Rosie, who has had a part-time role at Fox’s for a year. She likes sailing, swimming, sticks, sprats and boosting Fox’s staff morale… every office also needs a Rosie!
