Meet Ali, one of our dedicated Marina Operatives. You’ll find his smiley face around the marina handling boat lifts and ensuring smooth movements across the yard as part of our marina team.
With two years at Fox’s under his belt, Ali brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at Ipswich Port and Ipswich Haven (now Beacon Marina).
What Ali enjoys most about his job is the variety — it keeps him on his toes, with no two days being the same. He likes working outdoors (most of the time!), and the great team camaraderie adds to the enjoyment. A standout moment in his career was a film shoot out on the North Sea with Oyster Yachts, the closest he has come to his dream job of being a Ferrari test driver!
Ali is a self-confessed petrolhead who also loves a good engineering challenge when not at work. His current project is two-wheeled, involving the complete rebuild of a mountain bike.
