M/Y Luna has recently departed Fox’s following an extensive refit programme. Works included shot blasting the hull, full preparation and application of Coppercoat, propeller overhaul with PropSpeed, a range of electronic upgrades, as well as the supply of a new anchor and chain and modifications to the stainless steel guardrails.
Her Dutch owners followed the project closely, capturing hours of footage, now distilled into a short film. It was a pleasure to have them on-site throughout, and even more so to hear their longstanding connection to Fox’s.
The owner last visited the yard aged just 14, when his father purchased one of the very first Oyster Yachts built. Years later, that memory brought him back to Fox’s for work on his own yacht, a genuine full-circle moment we’re proud to have been part of.
