Meet Group Financial Director and poultry-enthusiast Mark. Yet another long-stay team member with eight years at Fox’s under his belt and a total of just over 20 years working on-site, having also worked for Oyster Yachts and Gunfleet Marine.
Mark's character isn’t really that of a stereotypical accountant, and whilst he followed in his father's footsteps, he admits he fell into the role after taking a holiday job stocktaking. This resulted in training, qualifications, and a long and successful career in numbers (although he does confess, he secretly aspired to be a weatherman!)
As well as managing Fox’s close-knit accounts team (and office dog Milo), Mark humbly says his role involves “collecting payments, paying bills and producing accounts” This translates to looking after the finances for the whole Fox’s Group while overseeing recruitment and health and safety.
Mark used to own a yacht with his father but admits to being a fairweather sailor and prefers to spend his time honing his handicap of 12 on the golf course or tending to his six much-loved rescue chickens.
