The team of Fox’s skilled shipwrights have been enjoying working on the refit of the beautiful, classic, wooden Fife, Kismet, this year, which has included the refurbishment of her wooden main mast, re-varnishing, replacing copper rivets and custom leatherwork, all carried out inhouse by the Fox’s team.
Built by the Fairlie yard in Scotland in 1898, Kismet was carefully prepared and loaded to transport by the Fox’s team ready for her journey by road to the South of France to take part in the Cannes, Régates Royales, which starts on 22 September, followed by the Voiles de Saint-Tropez later the same month.
