The J121, Rock Lobster, is a superb 40’ offshore racing yacht, owned by local east coast sailor, Nick Angel, who races her extensively on the IRC circuit.
In preparation for this year’s race season, Rock Lobster has just had a refit at Fox’s Marina & Boatyard, which included repainting below the waterline. Since her re-launch in May, Rock Lobster has recently finished second in the JOG race to Cherbourg and has taken part in the RORC race to Le Havre during which, despite being short-handed, Nick reported hitting 22 knots boat speed downwind!
Rock Lobster will be taking part in the Rolex Fastnet Race later this summer.
