Oyster 655 Rocas

Fox's are currently working on an impressive ‘colony’ of Oyster Yachts. One of the more extensive Oyster projects is the refit of the 655, Rocas which was recently relaunched at Fox’s looking like a new boat.

The comprehensive re-commissioning of this yacht has included the shot-blasting, priming and anti-fouling of her undersides, re-painting of the composite, carbon-fibre mast and replacement rod rigging. The project is being overseen by Skipper/Project Manager Richard Andrews who has been on site here at Fox’s one day a week since April, Richard is delighted with the results of Fox’s hard work and in his words:

“I have worked in the industry for 25 years, spent time in shipyards all over the world and it’s rare to find such a friendly boatyard. I have been genuinely impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of all the staff at Fox’s, from the engineers to boat polishers everyone is extremely competent and happy in their work.”

Alongside Rocas Fox's are currently working on an impressive ‘colony’ of Oyster Yachts. Pictured below are Oyster 62 Wishanger, 72 Koluka, 72 Luskentyre, 725 On Liberty and Oyster 82 Midnight, all at various stages of refit or repair work.
