Fox’s welcome back SJ35 Silver Shadow

Posted on: Monday, 29th June 2020

It has been a pleasure to welcome back SJ35 Silver Shadow to the Fox’s. Previously named ‘Grand Pandjadrum’ her current owners have reinstated her original name.

‘Silver Shadow’ was launched on a glorious sunny day following a refit by her owners and replacement standing rigging and mast re-step courtesy of Fox’s Rigging.

This distinctive ¾ ton IOR racing yacht was designed by Stephen Jones and built at Fox’s in 1977, when the yard specialised in producing cold moulded hulls, using timber veneers and resorcinol glue!

Now under enthusiastic new ownership, the yacht will no doubt be a regular sight on the east coast.
