As a longstanding partner of Oyster Yachts and appointed service partner for the Oyster World Rally, Fox’s are delighted to have assisted the Oyster Technical Support Team with preparations for the ARC+, ARC and World Rally.
Fox’s experienced rigger, Andy Wade has spent the last 3 weeks in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria providing rigging advice and health checks to the 27 Oysters gathered for their Atlantic crossings, as well as fixing any last minute rig issues.
14 of these Oyster yachts are in transit to the Oyster World Rally 2022-23 (a circumnavigation of the world). Four are entered in the ARC+ and a further nine are taking part in the ARC. Fox’s have provided support for all of the Oyster World Rallies, with representatives on-the-ground in Las Palmas for over 25 years of ARC preparation.
The Oyster 47 Escapade of London left Grand Canaria with the ARC+ on 7 November (see photo below). Escapade is well known by Fox’s having undergone a comprehensive, 18 month refit in preparation for her circumnavigation of the world. Follow Escapade's blog at https://sailingescapade.co.uk
