o beat the French summer shutdown and to get a Beneteau Oceanis 311 customer his mast as quickly as possible, Fox’s sent senior rigger, John Spear, to the Sparcraft factory in France to collect the new mast.
John, towing Fox’s dedicated mast trailer to Portsmouth, took the ferry to Caen, picked up the new mast from the Sparcraft factory in St Vaast, before returning via Cherbourg to Poole and finally on to the Eurospars Masts and Rigging facility in Plymouth where the mast will be completed before it is delivered to the rigging team at Fox’s for stepping later this month.
