Huge congratulations to Fox’s Rigging's newest recruit and accomplished sailor Matt Taylor, who beat off strong competition to win to the RS200 Rooster National Tour open meeting that took place at Brightlingsea Sailing Club at the weekend.
The event was also the second leg of the Fox’s Chandlery Great Eastern Tour attracting 17 entries from around the country. With six races over two days competitors experienced some great sailing on the Essex Coast with a range of weather conditions from 3-20 knots and tidal changes to add an extra dimension! Racing was challenging but Matt and Will Taylor battled to take first place counting five firsts. Second place went to Robbie King and Bethan Matthews with Flynn Davies and Holly Dobson. Well done to all who took part.
