On Monday 19th July England moved into Step 4 of the Government’s Roadmap for the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. Whilst this means many of the constraints have been lifted, the pandemic is by no means over and Step 4 does not mark the end of the need for caution. We kindly ask that all visitors to Fox’s Marina & Boatyard follow the safety guidelines outlined below to continue to protect yourself and others.
- The marina toilet and shower facilities will be fully open. We request that you continue to wear face coverings and maintain at least one metre social distance in these areas.
- Our offices are open. You will notice that face mask signs and the hand sanitiser dispenser remain in place. The new guidance is as follows “The Government expects and recommends that people continue to wear face coverings in crowded, enclosed spaces to help limit the spread of the virus”.

- Fox’s Chandlery is fully open. We ask that you continue to wear a face covering and maintain at least one metre social distance when in store. The Chandlery are also take online and telephone orders for collection in-store or delivery. Shop online at www.foxschandlery.com
- We are continuing with our enhanced cleaning regime and hand sanitiser will remain available.
- Overnight stays onboard are now permitted and there is no limit to the number of guests onboard a vessel. Please be conscious of the continued need for social distancing, particularly on pontoons and in areas that can become crowded. Remain outside where possible.
- Please remember that you must not visit Fox’s Marina & Boatyard if you have Covid-19 symptoms, have tested positive for Coronavirus or have been told to self-isolate.
Whilst we support the desire to return to normal, we are keen to keep Fox’s open in the coming weeks, so would really appreciate your cooperation with the measures above to keep both staff and customers safe and virus free. As a small team it will become difficult to operate if staff test positive/need to isolate.
