Covid-19 Update – 25th June 2020

Covid-19 Update: Boat Owners now able to stay overnight on your boat

Following the latest guidance released by the government we are delighted to announce that from 4 July 2020, Fox’s berth holders will be able to stay overnight on their boats.

Boris Johnson has said, “from 4 July, provided that no more than two households stay together, people will be free to stay overnight in self-contained accommodation.” Since boats fall under ‘hotels and other accommodation’ and as such overnight stays on boats are permitted. With the current fabulous weather this news is what boat owners have been waiting for.

We will also welcome visiting yachts wishing to stay onboard at the marina. The Marina and facilities will be fully accessible and our Chandlery is also now open to walk-in customers. Covid-19 measures still remain in place and we request that you respect the social distancing rules.

If you require any maintenance advice, upgrades or support services our office is open Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.00hrs,  and we would love to see you, alternatively call  +44 (0)1473 689 111 or email foxs@foxsmarina.com

Our friends at the RYA Training Centre, Sail & Power Boat Training Ltd have created a useful video just to remind us all to stay safe on the water. This can be viewed here. Spot where its filmed?!

The team at Fox’s would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times, we look forward to seeing you back on the water.
