These high speed work boats carry workers to and from the wind farms which are being built off our coast and in Europe.
Windcats approached Fox’s as we are the only marina in the area which has the machinery to lift out these sizable craft. The Windcats are 15m in length x 6.1m wide and must reach certain average speeds to fulfil their contracts, so if you pass these bright yellow craft in the River Orwell you will know they are on their way to Fox’s Marina to be scrubbed so they can retain their speed.
Fox’s Workshops will also be carrying out any refit work needed so they can keep their fleet of cats seaworthy and working 24/7.
