Double Olympic medallist, Saskia Clark MBE, recently cut the ribbon at the official opening ceremony of The Outlook, a new facility on the waterfront at Fox’s Marina.
The new Outlook building includes new amenities for berth holders and visitors, nine waterfront offices, harbour master’s office and a bar/restaurant, which becomes the new home of Fox’s Marina Yacht Club.
The Outlook Bar and Restaurant is being operated by Ivan Penev, who is well-known locally, having run The Lightship at Levington for several years.
In addition to serving boat owners and their crews based at Fox’s, The Outlook welcomes visiting yachtsmen and the general public, who will be attracted by its unique, waterfront location overlooking all the activity of Fox’s marina and working boatyard.
The offices have already been well received with over 75% of available space pre-let before the official opening. Oyster Yachts has taken several units for their new East Coast headquarters for new yacht commissioning and brokerage.
Commenting on the opening, Fox’s MD, Will Taylor-Jones said:
“The investment in the new Outlook building is a real step forward for Fox’s and our customers. Our berth holders are very pleased with the new facilities and in particular the new bar/restaurant, which also welcomes the staff of all those businesses based here at Fox’s Marina as well as the general public.”
