Fox’s Stainless, producing high quality, bespoke fittings for prestigious UK yacht builders
Many of the refit projects currently going through our workshops involve the Fox’s Stainless department, which is renowned for producing high quality, bespoke fittings for some of the world’s most prestigious yacht builders.
Current work includes a number of fittings for the amazing, new Spirit 111, including the bow roller and framework to carry the yacht’s BMW i3 batteries and Torqeedo electric propulsion system. Onboard the Spirit P70 motor yacht, the team at Fox’s has fitted stainless anchor pockets, an underdeck hydraulic crane bracket and fuel filter fillers. Finally, winch brackets have been installed on Spirit’s new cruiser-racer, the Spirit 50CR.
The Oyster 62, Wishanger II, back at Fox’s after her three-year circumnavigation, is having a number of modifications to include changing the stemhead from a 2-roller to 4-roller stemhead; an extension to her aft bathing platform to allow for the fitting of a pair of Watt & Sea generators, and custom framework for a bank of solar panels.
In addition, we’re delighted to be entrusted with producing the pushpit and bimini frames for Oyster Yacht’s new Oyster 565 launching this spring.
