Added Depth To Marina At Fox’s, Ipswich

Fox’s continued committment to improved services has been further underlined by the newly completed ploughing of its Marina.  Ploughing took place throughout September to increase depth to 3 metres below chart datum in all areas and up to 4 metres plus in strategic positions throughout the Marina basin where larger yachts are situated.  The cost of this necessary improvement is in the region of £30,000. This work is part of the long term plans to accommodate the larger, deeper draft size vessels which are now coming to Fox’s for refits.  The ploughing was done by Tam Grundy with Red 7 coming in to cut off some pile stubs in the dock, which will aid the marina teams productivity by allowing them to operate their 50 tonne hoist at all states of the tide.
