Structural modifications completed to Aquador 22

This sports cruiser arrived at Fox’s by road from Ireland, with her new owner keen to undertake some significant work to make the boat more sea-worthy, secure and self-sufficient – allowing for longer passage making and also to enable her to be left on a swinging mooring.

Following detailed discussions, Fox’s designed and installed an all new foam cored structural GRP bulkhead complete with lift off, locking door and additional window hatches.  Positioned at the aft end of the wheelhouse, separating the aft cockpit from forward accommodation, the result is both practical and aesthetically pleasing whilst achieving the owner’s requirements.

In addition, Fox’s installed cockpit drainage, reinforced the bow area, installed a new bow roller, 2x20w solar panels with charge controller, fabricated a stainless outboard bracket to take a new electric outboard, additional domestic batteries, new electric bilge pump and serviced the Mercruiser Engine outdrive.

An interesting project, making full use of all Fox’s in-house capabilities.
