This 12m x 6.5m catamaran had been badly damaged and was collected and delivered by sea to Fox’s Marina by Fox’s commissioning staff prior to being hauled, de-rigged and carefully laid up under cover.
The catamaran had suffered extensive damage to both hulls and keel mouldings. Fox’s skilled composite repair team removed the interior mouldings to gain access and rebuilt the damaged hull structure prior to reinstating all internal fixtures and fittings.
New keel foil mouldings were supplied by the builder and installed along with rudders prior to re-rigging and commissioning trials.
Fox’s Marina & Boatyard was chosen as the preferred yard to deliver this complex repair job, which was completed on budget and on time, allowing the yacht to be back in the water ready for the summer season.
