Thanks to Sarah Jane for organising the event and the hosts, Fox's Yacht Club for a great after-party.

Faramir

Owned by the Cirden Trust the 72’ “Faramir” was the last and the largest boat built here at Fox’s in the late 70’s. Her hull is as solid as the day our craftsmen finished testimony to the skills on site. She was here for general refurbishment and a paint of her topsides , rigging work and electronic upgrades.

Although we do not build complete boats any more the skills remain for any major refit or refurbishment project.

Insurance Link up

A leading International Insurer has appointed us as a designated repair yard for insurance work. We will be supporting owners needing repairs over a wide area of both the East/part South coast and Thames in the UK. Continental Europe and Scandinavia.

With a “one-stop shop” for all aspects of work on site we are ideally placed to help bring your boat back to prime condition. Outside any repairs you will be welcome to use our skills for retro-fit whilst here.

Walton Channel Cardinal

We are pleased to continue to sponsor the cardinal buoy which marks the spit near the entrance to the Walton Backwaters. Constantly shifting sandbanks a feature of the East Coast mean that local boats value highly the support of local organisations to maintain the channel markers .Even in the channel it is thin at Springs out to Pye End.

Site improvements

We continue our programme of updating and improving our infrastructure.
Our blast area which is regularly needed to tackle antifouling removal or gelcoat removal for osmosis treatment is being improved & moved to a better location on site.
Yard surfaces have been much improved to display boats for sale to best advantage and improve viewing facilities. This will help the selling companies on site, Fox’s Yacht Sales and Oyster Brokerage.
