The highly knowledgeable and experienced Rigging team from Fox’s Marina & Boatyard has taken part in the latest Oyster Yachts complimentary seminar for Oyster World Rally participants, in conjunction with demonstrations from Dolphin Sailmakers and Cathelco Seafresh Watermakers, held at Dolphin’s Gowen Ocean Sailmakers loft in West Mersea.
The Fox’s Rigging team demonstrated the correct installation and use of Staylok rigging terminals, splicing – in both braid and Dyneema cordage – and advised on practical solutions to reduce rigging and chafe when blue water cruising.

The second Oyster World Rally, which follows the hugely successful inaugural rally held in 2013-2014, will see the Oyster fleet depart from Antigua in January 2017 and spend two years circumnavigating the world’s oceans. We wish all those taking part fair winds on their voyage of a lifetime.
