WORKSHOPS – APPRENTICE & EXPERIENCED LEVELS

Fox’s Workshops are currently seeking additional staff to assist with yacht refit and repair work.

We are actively seeking both experienced and apprentice level positions.

Experience of marine composite repair work, laminating, gelcoat finishing and paint spraying would be attractive.

Apprentice applicants should have an interest in boats and some practical ability, however of more importance is a willingness to get stuck in and learn new skills.

MARINE ENGINEERING APPRENTICE

Fox’s Engineering are looking for someone with a passion for boats and interest engines and systems to join their busy team.

Previous experience of general marine engineering practices would be attractive and the confidence to be able to work independently and within a team. Specific brand experience of engines and marine equipment would be an advantage.

Previous, qualified experience would be beneficial although not essential as training will be given.

RIGGING APPRENTICE

Due to a steady increase in our workload, Fox’s Rigging is looking to recruit a trainee rigger to join our established rigging team working at Fox’s Marina and Boatyard, Ipswich.

Do you have a passion for sailing and boats? Do you enjoy practical problem solving, working as part of a team and learning new skills? We are looking for someone who has high attention to detail and an appreciation of technical and mechanical systems, as well as good communication skills. Training will be given.
