Recently purchased from Oyster Brokerage, Morris Scally’s Oyster 435, Azura has already been into Fox’s Spray Booth and emerged with a brand new coat of AwlGrip Flag Blue with Snow White Boot Top & Coveline. After leaving the Spray Booth she has gone straight into the Osmosis Workshop to have her bottom finshed.
Azura had already been blasted prior to the Spray Work to remove anti foul build up and is now nearing the end of her short stay at Fox’s.
Once she leaves Fox’s Morris hopes to finish some interior work before setting sail to the Med and to compete in the ARC in 2011.
We at Fox’s wish him well on his travels.
Here are the stages in detail our Spray Team led by Dominic Stringer have gone through to achive such a beautiful finish. Dominic swears by AwlGrip products and has used their products for the past 20 years. In Dominic’s eyes they offer the complete spraying package and the results are always stunning.
Preparation for the Spray Work consisted of sanding the topsides, then all the stress cracks and damage is ground out, re-laminated and filled with Epoxy Filler.
The Spray Work consisted of four coats of AwlGrip Epoxy Primer and four coats of AwlGrip Flag Blue G-Line Polyurethane.
The Coveline and Boot top was sprayed with AwlGrip Snow White.
