Working in collaboration with local superyacht deck equipment specialists, Shipyard Supply Co, Fox’s Marina & Boatyard’s fabrication department has recently completed the design and build of a set of bespoke, aluminium tender chocks. Developed to house a 7m ski boat on the deck of a 50m superyacht chase boat, the chocks were designed in-house, in 3D, by the team at Fox’s and fabricated from laser-cut, 10mm thick aluminium plate.
On completion, the tender chocks were shipped to the parent vessel, which is currently under construction at a shipyard in the Netherlands. Fox’s has decades of experience in designing and manufacturing a vast array of custom projects, both marine and non-marine, whether working in wood, stainless steel, aluminium or composites.
