The experienced owner of this fabulous, performance yacht approached Fox’s as his preferred refit yard for haul, layup and various work on his new carbon fibre flying machine. With her 3m draft and hydraulic lifting bulb keel, handling the yacht and laying her up ashore required some care and ingenuity from the Fox’s yard team. Work being planned for the winter includes a new epoxy bottom finish, including Coppercoat antifouling, various onboard engineering and electrical work and modifications to the deck-stepped carbon rig allowing for the installation of new rod rigging in preference to the current ultra light, albeit high maintenance, PBO standing rigging.
