Clare Payne joins Fox’s (for the second time!)

We are delighted to welcome Clare Payne back to Fox’s Marina & Boatyard as our new administrator for the Rigging and Electronics departments.

Clare first joined Fox’s in 2010 as a rigging apprentice and was with us for 18 months until her husband, who is a member of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers stationed at nearby RAF Wattisham, was posted to Reading in 2012. When the opportunity came for Clare and her family, which now includes two young daughters, to return to Suffolk in 2017, we were very pleased to be able to offer Clare a new position as Administrative Assistant, for the Fox’s Rigging and Electronics departments and she is now the first point of call for all our Rigging and Electronics enquiries.

Clare is a qualified Yacht Master Offshore and brings considerable practical, blue water cruising experience to the team, having spent five years crewing superyachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean and has an Atlantic crossing on her log.

And as if Clare’s life isn’t busy enough already, she has just completed the York Marathon in a very credible 3 hours, 58 minutes and 2 seconds!
