Fox’s welcomes delegates on the Yacht and Small Craft Survey Course

Fox’s is pleased to welcome delegates on the latest Yacht and Small Craft Survey Course, currently taking place at Fox’s Marina & Boatyard.

The courses, which run in the spring and autumn, are operated by Martin Evans, MYDSA, and Aidan Tuckett AMYDSA, both full time surveyors with busy commercial practices.

Their ‘Practical Yacht and Small Craft Survey Course’ provides intensive training to give people the skills and techniques they need to survey small craft and, to date, they have trained over a hundred people, many of whom have gone on to build successful surveying practices in the marine industry.

Students make full use of the yard facilities at Fox’s, which allows them access a wide range of yachts and small commercial craft, providing practical, hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn directly from Fox’s engineers and craftsmen, experience that cannot be gained from the more usual distance-learning courses.
