Fox’s is delighted to confirm orders for new refit work to two Oyster 56’s, both recently sold through Oyster Brokerage, and both originally launched, commissioned and rigged here at Fox’s.
Oyster 56-37, Osprey of Falmouth, will be fitted with a bespoke mainsail reefing arrangement, designed and installed by Fox’s Rigging, a complete Webasto heating system, replacement skin fittings and seacocks, in addition to a comprehensive programme of servicing and maintenance. Scheduled for re-launch in mid October, Osprey will be based on the west coast of Scotland where she will be used as a mother-ship for her owner’s hydrographic surveying activities.
Launched in 2004 and with a circumnavigation to her credit, Oyster 56-35, Shaya Moya, will undergo an extensive refit, which will include a new teak deck, replacement generator, new standing rigging, new davits and the supply of an aluminium, AB RIB with Yamaha outboard. On top of this list of work will be a programme of servicing and maintenance, preparing the yacht for extended, blue water cruising. Shaya Moya is scheduled to leave Fox’s for her mooring in the Hamble River in the spring of 2018.
