New H39 Performs at IRC Nationals

The new 39ft Oystercatcher XXXI, took part in the recent UK IRC National Championship in Cowes and showed great potential, particularly upwind.

This was the yacht’s first competitive outing and there is still much work to do getting to know the boat and her gear. Her next outing will be at the European IRC Championship in Cork, 10-15 July, when the crew say they will be ‘excuse free’ and looking for some podium results!

Oystercatcher XXXI hull and deck mouldings were completely fitted out and painted at Fox’s with appendages, engineering systems, electronics, deck gear and rigging all installed by the Fox’s in-house team.
