Sail Training Vessels Prepare for the 2016 Season

The Oyster 49 sail training ketch, Offshore Scout, gets a pressure wash after being grit-blasted to remove an accumulation of anti-fouling before being re-painted in the Fox’s workshops, in readiness for another busy season afloat.

Offshore Scout and her sister ship Ocean Scout have over-wintered at Fox’s Marina & Boatyard since being launched in 1997 and 1993 respectively. Adventures Offshore, who operate the two Oyster 49 sail training vessels, have entrusted the maintenance of their fleet to Fox’s Marina & Boatyard for over 20 years.
