On 5th July 2012 with great pleasure Fox’s had the Olympic Torch Relay pass through and board a Beneteau 44 Trawler, the torch and bearer then left the marina at speed to have some photos taken by the Orwell Bridge. Shortly after the Trawler made it’s way to Ipswich lock where it transfered the torch and torch bearer onto a brand new Gunfleet 43, the Gunfleet then proceeded to a berth at Neptune Quay where the torch left the water and made it’s way through Ipswich on land.
